This product-based business owner was intentional about what steps to take to exponentially grow her business fast. And it’s paying off, threefold.
The growth trajectory of, arguably the cutest First Aid Kit out here, is one of my ultimate favorite case studies to come out of working directly with us at Strong Brand Social! KEEP>GOING First Aid is a shining example of how doing one incremental thing over time can pace your business to over $2mil in revenue within 3 years.
- In 2019, the owner of Keep Going, started with a product idea and the spine of a marketing plan. She started giving away her product to friends and family to figure out what she could improve on and built a simple ecomm site that could sustain online sales.
- In 2020, she had one product to sell, taking it to a wider market than just her family & friends. She decided to do Facebook ads only and sold 800 units.
- In 2021, she kept going with Facebook ads, but in order to fully accelerate her revenue, she focused on her online store conversion rate. She also added an email marketing component. Then, to optimize her conversion rate and increase her rate of sales, she used these two strategies together, i.e., FB ads, with email marketing. This simple addition and focused approach earned her an 86% increase in units sold for 2021!
- By 2022, she has refocused once again, concentrating on strategy & growth. Outsourcing her Facebook ads (while maintaining a higher than expected return), her organic social, and her email. She added 2 additional product sizes to her inventory and introduced micro-influencers to her marketing plan.
She’s set to do a $2mil+ year, by the end of 2022, and was already at $900k at the start of June.
What she is not doing is SEO, SEM or Google retargeting ads. And guess what? She doesn’t need to yet. Because her current strategy has already grown her revenue by 71% by June (vs 2021).
